Job Hunting

So, job hunting for me has gotten a bit hectic. I seem to be applying for anything and everything because I am in a total blind panic about being unemployed. I have never not had a job, and I almost don't know what to do with myself, with no routine or set things to do. There is housework, which is something I can always be doing, and might have to start enjoying doing. There are good things about daytime telly- wife swap and countdown and the highlight- come dine with me.... all watched while job applying.

I've applied for work as

Sky Call centre adviser (waiting to hear)
Gift Fundraiser (did this before- also waiting to hear)
A Cleaner (waiting on email)
A Bank Teller (interview on Tuesdays
Special Education job as a teacher with Capability Scotland (interview 9th August)
An additional support needs co-ordinator with John Wheatley College(waiting to hear)
Multiple bar and restuarant work.

I think it is very strange how long it takes for people to recruit. When I am available for an immediate start it would be better if people actually did this when it wasn't a scam. Then there is the dilemma of do I accept a job with a crap pay although it is still something if I get it or wait for other intervews? I don't want to pull the wool over a new employers eyes about my wanting a decent job- i'm not stupid but I need to work somewhere with either responsibility or something where I can get to work my brain.

Anyway... going to go and see a film called The Room tonight at the GFT.
