Looking after our plants!
We have planted lots of plants of late. We've planted curly red and green lettuces, broccoli, cabbage, onions, coriander, tomatoes, peas and potatoes. We have been watering them and pulling out the weeds that take up the space for the plants. We have a wee problem with cheeky slugs but I'm going to order slug repellant on amazon this week there's too many nice plants for them to munch them all!
We have been on a bird spotting walk this week and we had a fantastic time. Our duck pond is 4k uphill from us so we had to just go for it and wow it was SO worth it. We saw swans and baby cygnets in their GIANT nest, oyster catchers, mallard ducks, seagulls, bluetits and two swallows.
We picked up some litter while we were out and filled a bag before binning it.
We came back after walking 8km with 2 sleepy little angels even though it was just 11am and they powered through their day.
Later we tried the Happa Zome challenge where we had to bash out the dyes in the plants into some cotton fabric to make a Family flag. The hardest thing was sharing during this activity as it was so addictive.

Well done! This is amazing, I love reading about your adventures and seeing what you have been up to. Fantastic xx
